Actress Becca Tobin, who is best known for her role in ‘Glee’, ‘The Good Doctor’, and ‘The Wedding Contract’, to name a few, recently revealed that she and her husband, Zach Martin, just welcomed their second baby together. The happy couple shared the news online with fans and netizens alike.

Taking to the latest episode of ‘The LadyGang’, the 40-year-old actress revealed the happy news that she and Martin welcomed their second baby, their daughter, Meyer June Martin, recently. She opened up about the matter to her co-hosts, Keltie Knight and Jac Vanek, revealing how she and Martin had been awaiting their baby girl’s arrival on August 26 according to the calculated date; however, their surrogate, Katie, ended up developing preeclampsia. This, she explained, is a complication of pregnancy, and because of it she had to induce labour earlier than scheduled.The actress had announced all the way back in April earlier this year that her family of three was expected to grow soon, as they had opted to have another baby via surrogacy. During the podcast, she even revealed that she had a chance to take part in the birth as well, which was something extremely special for her.Recalling the moment her daughter was born on July 19, she shared, “The doctor or midwife looks at me, and she goes, ‘Do you want to deliver your baby?’ And I was like, ‘Um, yes,’ So she then hands me her gloves. I put on her gloves. I stand at the bottom, and she’s like, ‘There’s her head,’ and I put my hand on the head; suddenly Katie does not even push. She just sort of like something happens. This baby comes sliding out, and me and the midwife are like holding the baby.”

The actress then detailed more about how she and Martin came up with their baby’s name. She mentioned, “So we were like, we’re doing a family name. I knew that I wanted to use June as a middle name. That was my grandmother that I was incredibly close to. And then my grandmother’s dad, my great-grandfather, his name is Meyer, and it means bringer of light in Hebrew.”The couple had welcomed their first son, Rutherford ‘Ford’ Thomas Martin, in 2022 through surrogacy as well. Tobin has been candid about her journey with motherhood, sharing that she underwent two miscarriages before all of this, and had to face a lot of issues with fertility.
