The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has activated the choice confirmation link for Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2026 Round 2 counselling. Candidates can confirm their choices through the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea.KEA declared the final KCET 2026 Round 2 seat allotment result on August 24, 2026. Candidates who have been allotted seats must now select the appropriate choice and complete the required admission process.Candidates can log in to confirm their choice by either scanning the QR code given on their verification slip or entering their application number and option entry Common Entrance Test (CET) number.

KCET Round 2 counselling 2026: Important dates

Candidates who select Choice 1 or Choice 2 can complete their choice selection and fee payment from August 25 to August 28, 2026.Choice 1 candidates can also download their confirmation slip during this period.The last date to report to the allotted college is August 28, 2026. Candidates who do not want to accept the allotted seat can select Choice 4 and exit the counselling process.

KCET Round 2 choice entry 2026

KEA has clarified that only Choice 1 and Choice 4 will be available to candidates after the Round 2 seat allotment. Choice 2 and Choice 3 will not be available after seat allocation.Under Choice 1 (Accept and Freeze), candidates have to accept the allotted seat, pay the prescribed fee and report to the allotted college. Candidates may also be eligible to participate in Round 3 counselling, depending on the applicable criteria.

How to confirm KCET Round 2 choice

Candidates can follow these steps to confirm their choice:

  1. Visit the official KEA website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea.
  2. On the homepage, go to the “UGCET / UGNEET 2026-Admission” section.
  3. Click on the “Option Entry Link (UGCET / UGNEET)” link.
  4. Enter the required details, including the CET application number and password or date of birth.
  5. Complete the One-Time Password (OTP) verification through WhatsApp, registered mobile number or email.
  6. View the seat allotment result and select the preferred choice.
  7. Submit the choice and complete the fee payment, if applicable.
  8. Download the confirmation slip and take a printout for future verification.

Candidates are advised to complete the choice confirmation, fee payment and reporting process within the given deadlines to avoid missing their allotted seat.
